1. The service

BidRite ("the Service", "we", "us") provides job-costing, ticketing, scheduling, photo storage, and payment-link software for contracting businesses, delivered through a mobile application and this website. These Terms are an agreement between BidRite and the business that opens an account ("you", "your shop").

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including activity by users you add for your shop. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. Subscriptions and billing

The Service is offered as a monthly subscription per shop, with a free trial. Billing is handled on this website by Stripe; we do not store your card details. Fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice.

4. Payments to your customers (Square)

The Service can create payment links through your own Square account. Payments made by your customers are between you, your customer, and Square under Square's terms. BidRite never holds, receives, or transmits your customers' funds and is not a party to those transactions.

5. Your data

Everything you enter into the Service — customers, jobs, prices, photos — belongs to you. We process it only to provide the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy. Each shop's data is isolated to its own account. You can request an export or deletion of your shop's data at any time.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service: no unlawful content, no attempts to access another shop's data, no reverse engineering, no reselling the Service, and no use that disrupts the Service for others.

7. Availability and support

The mobile app is offline-first: your data remains available on your device even without connectivity. We aim for high availability of the sync and account services but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Support is provided by email.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is". BidRite's pricing and margin figures are calculations based on the numbers you enter; you are responsible for your own quotes, prices, taxes, and business decisions. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where practicable. On termination we will make your data available for export for 30 days, then delete it as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced by email or in the Service at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date is acceptance of the new Terms.
