Trust & Security
Plain-English, last updated July 4, 2026.
BidRite holds real business data — your customers, addresses, jobsite photos, prices, and invoices. Here's exactly how that's handled, in plain language. The formal version is in the Privacy Policy.
Your data is yours
Everything you enter — customers, jobs, prices, photos — belongs to your shop. We process it only to run the Service, on your instructions. We do not sell it, mine it, or use it to train anything.
Offline-first, encrypted on your device
The app works fully offline: your data lives in encrypted local storage on your phone and can be locked behind a biometric / PIN app lock, with screenshot blocking on by default. Basement, attic, rooftop, zero bars — nothing changes.
How sync and storage work
When you turn on sync, data moves over TLS to the BidRite server, where each shop's data is isolated to its own account and reachable only with that account's credentials. Servers and the managed database, and jobsite photos are hosted on Railway.
Payments — we never touch your money
Two separate rails, kept clean:
- Square — your customers' payments run through your own Square account and settle to your bank. BidRite never holds, receives, or transmits your customers' funds.
- Stripe — handles your BidRite subscription only. We never store your card number.
Account isolation
Every shop is walled off from every other shop. Your customers, prices, and numbers are visible only to your account.
Export & delete
You can request an export or deletion of your shop's data at any time. After you close your account, we keep it available for export for 30 days, then delete it from active systems.
No ad tracking
This site runs no advertising trackers and no analytics cookies. We don't build a profile on you.
